If your wondering how Christy's doing and how her flight went then here you go and I'll let her tell it in her own words:
"Hola, the shift key is in a different spot than on our keyboard, so please excuse miss typing, I only have about 10 minutes left because it took me a while trying to sign in and this keyboard is a little high. I met up with 4 elders in the Dallax airport and every thing was very fast going through customs but then we had to wait 2-2/12 hours for our ride because of an accident slowing up traffic outside. There are a lot of motorcycles here. I had two Brazillion room-mates, sisters Vieda (sp?) and Nunes. They are really neat but they left early yesturday morning for their missions. I also have an American room-mate from Utah, whose name is Sister Nickel. The Brazillions like my last name because it is marron (brown). I didn~t really have any language classes until my 2, or 3rd day. But I already have to think about how to spell in english ocassionaly, which is funny because I really don~t know any portuguese yet. Everything is very pretty here, it was cold and rainy for the first few days but now it is sunny and warm and my district, 4 Elders, and myself, I don't have a companion. Sister Sorenson (sister wakefields niece) CAME in to day. ...shalom.
I love you all.
have a great day.
Love,
Christy.
The Sau Paulo temple is muito bonito.!!!
Wonderful! Sounds like you have hit the ground running, Christy. Thanks for posting this James.
